Job Description

Carpenter Co. has an immediate opening for a Vertical Contour Cutter Operator at our Ferdinand IN manufacturing plant. This position is responsible for cutting foam and fiber materials used in upholstered furniture manufacturing.



Carpenter Co. employees are committed to working hard to ensure production goals are met while maintaining operations excellence. As the VCC Operator, you will be expected to operate the contour cutter to ensure maximum usage of bun/sheet stock or rolled fiber material with a minimal generation of trim material.



Your additional responsibilities as VCC Operator will include: Other tasks as deemed necessary by supervision.



Skills and Requirements


Some knowledge of and prior experience using a computer*
Must be able to read and accurately measure with a tape measure*
Perform basic math calculations*
