Job Description

Position Summary:

The role involves ensuring proper pumping and mixing of various egg products while adhering to safety and food quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE). Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Connect and inspect product lines for daily production. Load tankers with accurate product weights. Pull samples for lab testing. Monitor product quality, solids, and cooling. Understand and manage ice builder and cooling procedures. Set up and coordinate silo assignments. Complete necessary paperwork for HACCP compliance. Operate CIP (Clean-In-Place) systems. Handle chemicals properly. Work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Maintain good manufacturing practices (GMPs). Collaborate with USDA and other departments. Prepare liquid schedules and communicate with drivers. Forklift operation. Ensure a safe and healthy workplace. Maintain sanitary conditions and report any issues affecting food safety and quality. Ensure regulatory compliance. Perform other assigned duties.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

Less than high school education.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with two-digit numbers. Ability to handle units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to understand and follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
