Qualifications

Must have and present a valid driver's license. Must have an excellent driving record. Must be knowledgeable of Maryland traffic laws and regulations. Must operate vehicles safely and in accordance with Maryland traffic laws. Must be able to be on call and respond in an emergency. Must communicate any concerns or problems to Management promptly.

Duties and Responsibilities

This position reports to Operations.

Pick up passengers from designated locations. Drive passengers to their assigned destinations safely and on time. Follow the assigned schedule and any routing instructions provided. Perform minor vehicle maintenance (e.g., checking fuel, tires, fluids). Keep track of fuel usage and submit related documentation. Maintain excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; interact professionally with passengers and fellow employees. Demonstrate the ability to operate vehicles safely at all times. Lift and carry up to

35 lbs

as needed. Maintain accurate driving and time records. Assist with other duties as assigned, based on operational needs, such as delivering packets or equipment to a job site and performing similar tasks as required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a motor vehicle. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and kneel as required for assisting passengers, inspecting the vehicle, or performing light maintenance. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to

. Ability to enter and exit the vehicle multiple times during a shift. Ability to operate vehicle hand and foot controls safely. Adequate vision, hearing, and hand-eye coordination to operate a motor vehicle and ensure passenger safety. Ability to communicate clearly with passengers, coworkers, and management in person or via phone/radio. * Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow) during passenger pick-ups or vehicle inspections
