Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Van Build Specialist to join our well-established and successful team. This position is responsible for the construction, installation, finishing, quality assurance, and function test of components and equipment installed in our vans. Applicant must have experience working with hand tools, power tools (track saw, table saw, drill press, grinders, etc.), other shop equipment, and the ability to train on and implement new equipment. Broad mechanical and carpentry knowledge, an acute attention to detail, and a positive attitude are required.

Key Responsibilities

Cut and install insulation, wooden walls, ceilings, framing and floors Fabricate components from scratch materials Cut out metal walls for window and AC Installation Assemble and install subcontracted components Upholster and install wall and door panels Test systems in vehicle and verify proper operation Remove and install bumpers, roof racks, light bars, bicycle carriers, external storage options, ladders, awnings, cross bars, etc Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Analyze and Interpret Blueprints and Build specifications for each project Be able to jump into other aspects of the job with a positive and ambitious mentality Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy work space; Live More takes pride in our company image Project a friendly, kind, and positive attitude Must be able to follow directions, work as a team, or as an individual Must possess mechanical aptitude Take pride in work completed Adaptability- willingness to learn new skills and techniques BONUS SKILLS: Experience in converting a van, laminate & edgebanding, CAD/CAM/CNC knowledge

Qualifications

1+ years of construction, wood-working, finish carpentry or similar experience Ability to calculate precise measurements Strong organization skills Open to learning and feedback Strong work ethic and communication Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on occasion Ability to safely operate tools Ambitious and Driven
