UTILITY WORKER

(SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Follow the instruction of the Crew Leader or Supervisor
- Performs heavy manual labor
- Assist in loading and unloading equipment on the jobsite and at the shop
- Erect safety devices according to traffic regulations
- Comply with safety procedures and guidelines at all times

- Clean tools and equipment and return them to their proper place

- Perform other duties as assigned by Collections Systems Manager or Utility Director

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to lift 94 pounds
- Ability to read and write
- Ability to fit through a 24" Manhole
- Ability to obtain a valid Arkansas Driver's License
- Must have experience working outdoors or similar environments
- Upon selection for employment, must pass physical/drug screen prior to coming to work
- Or any combination of experience and training which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.

THOSE APPLICANTS WHOSE TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE BEST RELATES TO THE DUTIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES OUTLINED BELOW WILL BE GIVEN FIRST CONSIDERATION FOR THIS POSITION.

- Safe driving record
