We are seeking a dedicated Utility Pipe Crew Member to join our construction team. This role involves working on sewer, water, and drainage pipeline installation, repair, utility locating, and site preparation across various projects plumbing and infrastructure development. The ideal candidate will have experience with sewer and water and a strong understanding of construction site safety and procedures. This position offers opportunities for skill development in specialized areas such as blueprint reading, concrete finishing, and heavy equipment operation.
Responsibilities
Possibly operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks to assist in pipeline installation and site excavation.
Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as needed for project requirements.
Utilize pipe lasers and utility locating tools to ensure precise installation of pipelines and utilities.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans.
Assist with concrete pouring, finishing, and forming to prepare surfaces for pipeline work.
Use forklifts to move materials around the construction site safely and efficiently.
Support plumbing tasks related to pipeline connections and repairs in various settings.
Follow safety protocols diligently on construction sites, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while adhering to quality standards.
Qualifications
Prior experience with heavy equipment operation such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, forklifts, and front loader trucks is preferred.
Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
Skilled in plumbing and site work
Experience with utility locating tools and pipeline installation is desirable.
Construction site experience in oil & gas or infrastructure projects is advantageous.
Strong work ethic with the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Valid driver's license required for company vehicle operation or site access purposes.
