Utility Heavy Equipment Operators

to run excavators, loaders, and backhoes for trenching, pipe install, and backfill operations.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment for trench excavation, pipe laying, and backfilling. Use trench boxes, lasers, and shoring safely. Coordinate with Foremen and Pipelayers for sequence and grade. Perform daily equipment inspections and follow trench safety standards. Step off the machine as needed to assist the crew.

Requirements

3+ years in underground utility or sitework operations. Skilled in trenching, backfill, and fine grading. OSHA 10 (required) / OSHA 30 (preferred). GPS or laser experience (Trimble, AGTEK) a plus. Team player with strong communication.
