Position Title: Utility Crew
Department: Plant Operations
Reports To: Plant Operations Director
JOB DESCRIPTION/REOUIREMENTS/OUALIFICATIONS:
Work with facilities team in a professional supportive manner in planning and carrying out goals and objectives.
Must have experience in various semi-skilled task in the maintenance of buildings and grounds.
Must have work experience in some of the following area's construction, plumbing, minor electrical, site work, concrete work, painting, wood work, landscaping.
Must be willing to work with trades division or sub-contractors as required.
Must be skillful and knowledgeable in the use of, the proper care of and adjustment of tools and equipment.
Must have experience in running lawn equipment.
Must have experience in operating snow removal equipment including some experience in plowing.
Must be available for flex shift during the normal school year.
Must be available for all emergency work needed after hours.
Must be available for snow removal as needed.
Must be able to unload equipment, school furnishings and any supplies.
Must be physically and mentally capable of working on structures such as but not limited to roofs, ladders, staging, and mechanical lifts. Truck mounted aerial lifts, cat walks and in spaces such as, but not limited to attics, crawlspaces and basements. Must be able to carry out the above task without direct supervision.
