Utility Clerk to support our Meat and Frozen departments

and join our fast-paced, community-focused team.

This morning-role position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, keeps things organized, and takes pride in maintaining two of the most important departments in the store. You'll help keep Meat and Frozen fully stocked, clean, and fresh, while supporting daily backroom and delivery operations. Forklift experience is preferred, but we can train the right person.

Morning availability and weekend availability are required.

Key Responsibilities

Support daily operations in the

Meat and Frozen

departments. Stock, face, and organize freezers and meat cases throughout the morning.

Check and manage expiration dates on all Meat products to maintain accuracy and freshness.

Maintain department cleanliness, including cooler/freezer upkeep and removing empty boxes promptly.

Unstack and break down pallets from deliveries

, moving product efficiently into departments and backstock. Rotate product to minimize shrink and ensure proper FIFO standards. Assist with backstock organization and managing pallets. Operate a forklift (training provided if needed). Keep the departments full, fresh, and customer-ready all day.

What We're Looking For

Reliable and consistent attendance with a strong work ethic. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. repeatedly. Comfortable working in refrigerated and frozen environments. Previous grocery, warehouse, or forklift experience is preferred -- not required. Self-starter with strong attention to detail and urgency. Team player who takes pride in maintaining clean, organized, customer-ready departments.
