Summary:

United States Postal Service is currently hiring for a Rural Carrier Associate to load and unload cargo from the rear of the vehicle and deliver to customers. The position requires the ability to drive a truck, be able to work in a cold environment, and prepare and clean up after the truck at all times.

Essential Functions:

Load and unload cargo from the rear of the vehicle delivering to customers. Drive a large box truck up front, load down front, and secure in place. Perform pre-trip inspection of large box truck before leaving home. Perform pre-trip inspection of large box truck before arriving at destination. Clean and prepare large box truck for return trip home. Clean and prepare car for return trip home. Cleaning equipment used in delivery is provided with position. Must be able to drive in cold weather environment. Be able to load and unload large box trucks. Be able to clean up after the truck at all times.
