Position Summary... The Senior Manager, Facilities Management, leads the strategic oversight and operational excellence of building, electrical and refrigeration systems to optimize asset performance and efficiency. This role manages budgets, ensures regulatory compliance, and directs multiple maintenance projects while fostering collaboration across departments. The position requires developing and implementing recovery and contingency plans, supervising teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. By leveraging data analysis and financial planning, the Senior Manager supports sustainable facility operations and enhances customer satisfaction, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
The Facilities Management team oversees the electrical and mechanical operations of central utility plants, ensuring efficient and reliable building systems. This team manages multiple maintenance projects, coordinates resources, and supports operational needs while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. They focus on optimizing asset performance, energy management, and financial planning to meet business objectives. The team fosters a collaborative environment that emphasizes proactive problem-solving, continuous improvement, and effective communication across departments to support facility operations and sustain high standards of service and safety.
What you'll do...

  • Manage facility operations by identifying improvement opportunities and enhancing building and refrigeration system performance.
  • Oversee department budget, validate spending, approve expenditures, and ensure landlord compliance with lease agreements.
  • Lead emergency response efforts by coordinating resources, dispatching contractors, and executing power restoration plans.
  • Direct multiple maintenance projects, monitor timelines, allocate resources, and mitigate risks to meet project milestones.
  • Implement energy savings and sustainability initiatives through advanced programming and system data analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical, HVAC and refrigeration regulations and manage related regional programs.
  • Develop and manage financial planning tools for maintenance and capital expenditures.
  • Supervise and develop associates, fostering a team-based work environment and conducting performance evaluations.
What you'll bring:
  • Extensive experience in facilities and project management, with proven ability to oversee multiple maintenance projects and campus improvements.
  • Strong financial planning skills, including budget development, expenditure approval, and cost management for maintenance and capital projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and sustainability initiatives.
  • Demonstrated leadership in supervising, mentoring, and developing teams to achieve operational and productivity goals.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to optimize asset performance and energy efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
