On-Call Caregiver - Idaho Falls

Happy To Help Caregiving is seeking a compassionate and dependable On-Call Caregiver in the Idaho Falls area. This role is essential to providing in-home care that supports our clients' independence and well-being.

As a key member of our caregiving team, reliability and consistency are crucial. Prior caregiving experience is required.

Responsibilities:

Deliver personalized care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Offer companionship and emotional support to create a welcoming and engaging environment. Observe and report any changes in client condition to supervisors promptly. Assist with light housekeeping, errands, and client mobility. Be available to travel within Idaho Falls and surrounding communities such as Ammon, Rexburg, Hamer, Shelley, and Rigby for shift coverage. Follow all company protocols and maintain safety standards. Accurately document all care provided.

Requirements:

Prior caregiving experience preferred (not required). Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a genuine desire to help others. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Flexible and adaptable to client needs and schedule changes. Available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Additional Information:

Guaranteed 20 hours/week at $16/hour; additional shifts picked up pay $18/hour. Includes one week of training and a one-week trial period. On-call schedule with flexibility, but caregivers must be available during designated times. In-home visits required throughout Idaho Falls and nearby areas. Ongoing training and support are provided.

Schedule:

Morning and Day shifts depending on client needs.
