Urgently Hiring Entry Level Medical Assistants for one of Long Islands largest Healthcare Systems!

Description:
Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
- Room patients
- Perform measuring and recording of patient\'s vital signs including height, weight, blood pressure & pulse
- Record patient information and reason for visit in EMR system
- Perform certain diagnostic tests such as EKG and assist physician with certain medical procedures, as needed
- Prepare patient records prior to visit by ensuring that required lab results and documentation are entered in the medical record for practitioner review
- Ensure all patients needs and questions are answered, as well as communicated with physician
- Multiple shift options
- Compensation between 19-21$ per hour based on experience, and higher if NCMA certified!
Completion of a Medical Assistant Program
Vaccinated (at least 2 doses)
