General Summary


The Universal Banker's role is to develop and maintain the banking relationships of prospective and existing customers. Implements the universal banking concepts through the sale of loans, deposit accounts and other retail banking services. Constantly strives to improve the profitability of the bank by obtaining new clients and increase "share of wallet" for existing clients.

Education and/or Experience

Associates degree in business finance or related field or equivalent of 2 years' experience in retail banking.

Excellent interpersonal skills for both working with customers and coaching the branch team. Strong sales and relationship building skills. Desire and individual with a supervisory and managerial aptitude. A good understanding of commercial and real estate lending preferred. Knowledge of all retail banking services. Knowledge of economic conditions and factors to be able to advise customers. * Understanding of loan documentation criteria and strong analytical skills.
