We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Universal Banker to join the team in our Atwood Avenue/Cranston RI branch. The Universal Banker position will be responsible to perform the job responsibilities of both a Teller and a Personal Banking Representative. We are looking for someone with previous banking experience who is goal oriented and has excellent customer services skills. Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Process financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing and loan payments
• Provides excellent customer service, identifies customer needs, and suggests appropriate line of products
• Proactively develops new customer relationships and expands relationship with existing customer
• Research and resolve all customer problems and inquires
• Interview consumer loan applicants. Submit and close consumer and equity loans
• Educates customers on all products and services and alternate delivery channels
• Cross sell products and services
• Engage in outside business development activities including cold calling and community involvement
• Contribute to the overall branch goals in sales and service

Job Specifications (Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required)

• High School diploma or GED required
• Previous teller experience and cash handling experience
• Computer experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Detail oriented and good organization skills
• Good working knowledge of all bank operating procedures, practice and policies
• Ability to prioritize workflow, multi-task, time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to analyze situations and solve complex issues
