Job Description
CarDon & Associates is now seeking an AL Unit Manager. The Unit Manager assumes 24-hour per day responsibility and accountability for supervising the care of all residents on assigned unit(s). Supervises licensed nurses and other nursing personnel in the delivery of care and services according to each resident's comprehensive resident assessment and plan of care. Manages unit(s) in accordance with facility philosophy and policies, standards of professional nursing practices, and all federal and state laws and regulations.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, CREDENTIALS:
Has an Indiana license, in good-standing, as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practice Nurse. Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Has strong organizational and time management skills. Has two years of professional nursing experience providing direct care to residents in long-term care, acute care, restorative care, or a geriatric nursing setting. Has one year of supervisory/management experience with direct care staff.RESPONSIBLE TO:
