The Unit Clerk is responsible for providing quality clerical services for the resident unit and for overseeing the overall cleanliness and order of the nursing station. The Unit Clerk will perform essential clerical and communication services related to resident care on the unit, interacting with other departments through the use of the phone, e-mail, written documents and personal contact. Also providing service based on established job functions and in accordance with Helen Porter policies.
Qualifications
High school graduate with additional course work and experience in medical assistant or clerical work.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
This is a bargaining union position.
