Position Summary:

DOTCOM is seeking a dependable and hardworking

Underground Laborer

to join our telecommunications construction team. This position involves supporting the installation and maintenance of underground fiber and coax networks, working safely around heavy equipment, and assisting crews with all aspects of underground utility construction.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the installation of underground conduit, fiber, and coax systems Excavate trenches manually or with machinery to lay cable and conduit Operate or support the use of directional drills, trenchers, and vac trucks Safely handle hand tools, jackhammers, compactors, and other construction equipment Backfill and restore work sites to meet safety and quality standards Maintain clean and organized job sites Follow all DOTCOM and OSHA safety guidelines and report hazards immediately Support crew leaders and foremen with daily job operations

Qualifications:

1+

year of construction or utility labor experience preferred (telecom or underground work a plus) Ability to safely lift, carry, and move up to 75 lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions Experience operating or assisting with trenchers, drills, or heavy equipment preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL a plus) Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork mindset Commitment to DOTCOM's values: Safety, Quality, Integrity, and Teamwork Upon a job offer, all DOTCOM employees and contractors must successfully complete a drug screening and criminal background check.
