Job Responsibilities:

Works without risk or harm to self or others Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures Safely operate both on- and off-road vehicles Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required Recognize, control, and communicate safety or environmental hazards

General duties when working on this project include:

Collect, verify, and input underground geological data with a high level of accuracy Assist with underground geological mapping and sampling as directed Support daily mine geology functions by organizing, decoding, and processing geologic information Maintain accurate digital records, logs, and databases Work closely with underground geologists to ensure timely and correct data flow Interpret and compile geological data for reporting and modeling needs Use software tools to update and maintain geology-related datasets Communicate findings, discrepancies, or data concerns to the geology team

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology

, or equivalent required

Current UG MSHA

certification required Background in

geologic mapping, sampling, and data interpretation

Experience

decoding and organizing geologic data

Familiarity with

Deswik software

is a strong plus Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to work safely and effectively in an underground environment Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy Previous mining or underground geology experience preferred
