Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Underground Construction Project Coordinator to join our team in . This role is vital in managing and overseeing underground construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, construction site experience, and proficiency with construction management software. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex infrastructure projects while working closely with engineering teams, contractors, and clients.

Responsibilities

Coordinate all phases of underground construction projects from initiation through completion Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other project management tools Prepare and review construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid and other estimating software Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, and progress reports Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure project specifications and safety standards are met Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions Facilitate communication between stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and internal teams Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project tracking and reporting Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site protocols during construction activities Assist in contract negotiations and management to ensure scope adherence and cost control

Experience

Proven experience in construction site management or project coordination within underground or heavy civil construction projects Strong knowledge of construction estimating, contracts, project scheduling, and construction management practices Proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and related tools Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills Familiarity with construction site safety standards and regulations Effective communication skills to coordinate between diverse teams and stakeholders Prior experience working on infrastructure or underground utility projects is highly desirable

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $51,001.23 - $61,420.84 per year
