Job Summary


The College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at Eastern Washington University is currently seeking applicants for an

Undergraduate/Graduate Services Administrator

for the College. This position will provide oversight and coordination for undergraduate and graduate retention and recruitment activities within the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS).



This position will provide oversight and coordination for undergraduate and graduate retention and recruitment activities within the College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences (CAHSS). The position will report to the Associate Dean and will provide support to the Dean, Associate Dean, Director of Finance and Administrative Services, and the College Executive Assistant.

The position will serve as a resource in conjunction with College Office personnel, departments, and programs on the development of integrated marketing retention and recruitment plans. The position will work closely with other college Undergraduate/Graduate Services Administrators, college advisors on student retention, recruitment, and community outreach efforts.

The salary for this position is $54,575 (minimum) up to $65,492. Where the hired candidate will begin within this range is dependent on education, experience, and skills. Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree. Years of higher ed student support experience may be substituted for the degree on a year-for-year basis. Knowledge and/or experience working in higher education. Experience in event support and social media maintenance Demonstrated advanced skills in computer technology and software, including the following: + MS Office Suite to include advanced skills/experience using Excel
+ Google Suite
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage several projects at once. Must have transportation and valid driver's license. Demonstrated ability to apply a responsive and flexible approach that is supportive of the needs including universal access of our students, faculty, staff and the public.

Retention

Assist in developing and implementing the retention and student services plan for the College. Review and adjust the plan as necessary. Collect and analyze data and other information of college enrollment numbers and prepare information to share for trends in student retention. Assist with programs such as Global Student Services, College in the High School and Running Start. Work with key personnel to develop and implement a marketing and retention plan for college programs. Coordinate and assist in implementation of the mission and goals of the CAHSS Student Advisory Board. Support Advising and Retention with programs such as the Early Warning System, DegreeWorks, minor Navigate assistance, probation and reinstatement, Assist with CAHSS peer mentoring programs. Respond to and act as a resource for day-to-day issues involving students majoring in CAHSS programs. Be familiar with university resources that support students, such as financial aid and scholarships, records and registration, tutorial and writing assistance programs, student accommodations, career services, and health and wellness. Develop relationships with other campus entities relevant to student success, for example student affairs, academic affairs, career advising, etc. Become familiar with student policies and academic standards. Develop and implement strategies to build and strengthen the relationship between students and the college, as well as the sense of community for students. Work with student clubs and organizations.

Schedule recruitment, admission, and advertisement meetings and/or workshops. Work with EWU Office of Admissions and on meetings and events with high school counselors and community colleges. Assist with recruitment events. Lead coordinator of New Student Orientation events, Admitted Student Days and other scheduled events involving prospective or incoming students. Co-direct the work of the CAHSS student employees. Coordinate and implement the mission and goals of the CAHSS Student Ambassador program. Lead selection of branded promotional materials for use tabling at recruitment events. Other duties as assigned.
