Unarmed Uniformed Security Specialist - Retail & Commercial Properties

Location:

Las Vegas, NV (and surrounding areas like North Las Vegas)

Employment Type:

Full-Time, Part-Time, Flex/On-Call, Day, Swing, and Night Shifts available.

Hourly Pay Range:

Generally

$16 - $18

, depending on the shift, and specific site (retail, mall patrol, commercial patrol, etc.).

Job Summary

We are seeking professional, reliable, and dedicated Unarmed Security Officers to monitor and patrol various retail and commercial real estate locations. The primary goal is to maintain a safe and secure environment, deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Patrol:

Conduct regular and random patrols of designated retail or commercial properties and their perimeters.

Deterrence:

Maintain a visible, professional security presence to deter criminal activity, public nuisances, and rule violations.

Observation & Reporting:

Observe and accurately report all activities, incidents, and security-related concerns according to site-specific procedures.

Access Control:

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and lock/unlock gates or doors as required.

Customer Service:

Provide professional and courteous assistance and information to clients, visitors, and employees.

Emergency Response:

Respond calmly and effectively to incidents, critical situations, and emergencies.

Minimum Requirements

Nevada PILB Guard Card:

Must possess a valid or current

Nevada Private Investigator's Licensing Board (PILB) Guard Card

to apply (this is a universal requirement for most roles).

Age:

Must be at least

18 years of age

for unarmed roles.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Professionalism:

Must be well-groomed and present a professional uniform appearance.

Skills:

Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to write clear, detailed reports.

Screening:

Must be able to pass a background investigation.

Experience:

Previous customer service, security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred.
