$17.00 per hour

Position Overview:

The Unarmed Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property at a manufacturing facility. This position requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to safety while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Control access to the facility by monitoring entrances, exits, and authorized personnel. Conduct regular patrols of the property, including production, storage, and exterior areas. Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security concerns. Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies according to company procedures. Maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation. Provide assistance and information to employees, visitors, and contractors in a courteous manner. Support safety and emergency response procedures, including evacuations and first aid if required. Collaborate with site management and other departments to ensure a secure and compliant environment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in security, manufacturing, or industrial settings preferred. Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Physically able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not required.
