Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Duties

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing assistance as needed. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential threats or suspicious activities. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent loss or damage. Provide first aid and CPR as necessary in emergency situations. Collaborate with law enforcement when required, ensuring proper communication and reporting. Document incidents, observations, and actions taken in detailed reports. Engage in conflict management to de-escalate potentially volatile situations. Assist with loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is preferred. Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is a plus. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operations. Excellent observational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must pass background checks as required by company policy.
