Job Summary:

Are you an experienced and reliable Security Officer looking for a new and exciting experience? River City Security & Investigations is currently seeking a skilled unarmed security officer for a full time hospitality position in the downtown area. The candidate must maintain a professional appearance and proper grooming standards due to the nature of the location.

Responsibilities include:
- Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or breaches
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of any security-related incidents
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors, and provide assistance and guidance when needed
- Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in the event of an emergency or criminal activity

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in security-related fields is a plus

- Two years' proven experience as an unarmed security officer
- Must be reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills

- Understanding of loss prevention techniques and practices
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
