Location:

Schedule:

Full-Time. Hours include: Monday-Saturday 9am-10pm. Sunday 10am-8pm

Pay:

$17.00 per hour

Job Summary:

The Unarmed Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, customers, and property. Officers will be assigned to a standing post and are expected to remain alert, observant, and professional at all times. This position requires strong situational awareness, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a visible security presence while standing post throughout assigned shift. Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to ensure the safety of staff and visitors. Verify identification and assist in controlling access to restricted areas. Conduct visual inspections and patrols to deter theft, vandalism, and other unauthorized activity. Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies according to company procedures. Document observations, incidents, and any irregular activities in detailed reports. Provide courteous assistance and support to employees and customers. De-escalate conflicts and report any potential safety or compliance concerns. Coordinate with management and local law enforcement when necessary.

required by state regulations or the employer. Must wear and maintain the

standard company uniform

at all times while on duty. Strong verbal communication and observation skills. Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required.

Work Environment:

Primarily a standing post position with extended periods of observation. Professional appearance and demeanor required at all times.
