Duties

Control access by verifying identification and authorizations for visitors, contractors, and employees to ensure only authorized individuals enter designated areas. Conduct regular patrols of the property to detect suspicious activity, hazards, or breaches in security protocols. Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, providing clear communication with emergency responders when necessary. Enforce safety policies and procedures while managing conflicts calmly and professionally to de-escalate tense situations. Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance documentation accurately and promptly. Assist with loss prevention initiatives by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting suspicious behavior.

Requirements

Proven ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining a positive attitude. Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), or law enforcement are advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly document incidents and interact professionally with diverse individuals. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently while enforcing policies ethically. Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond swiftly when needed. Pay: $18.50 per hour
