Duties

Monitor premises through surveillance systems such as CCTV to detect suspicious activity and ensure security protocols are followed. Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential hazards or security breaches, maintaining a visible presence to deter misconduct. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing assistance and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Manage access control by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Enforce loss prevention policies by observing and reporting theft or vandalism activities, assisting in safeguarding assets. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations to ensure accurate record-keeping. Support conflict management efforts by calmly de-escalating disputes or disturbances on-site.

Qualifications

Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; training will be provided if not already obtained. Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts. Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public. Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations. Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
