Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring property, preventing theft or vandalism, and responding promptly to emergencies. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment and upholding the safety standards of our organization.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the property to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards Enforce security protocols and access control procedures for employees and visitors Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR if certified Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security reports Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism Manage conflict situations with professionalism and conflict management skills Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and provide assistance during investigations Ensure all security equipment is operational and report any malfunctions

Experience

Prior experience of 3 years in the security industry Demonstrated ability to handle conflict management situations calmly and effectively Experience in security roles that require vigilance, quick decision-making, and adherence to safety protocols

Hours are 6pm-6am or 6am-6pm
