Join our dynamic retail security team as an Unarmed Security Guard and play a vital role in safeguarding our facilities, assets, and personnel. This energetic position requires vigilant observation, proactive conflict management, and excellent communication skills to ensure a safe and secure environment. You will be responsible for monitoring premises, conducting patrols, and providing a visible security presence that deters potential threats. Your dedication will help maintain a secure atmosphere where everyone feels protected and confident. Currently the opening I have is for day shift, 4-5 days a week and the contract is for 3 months. Duties

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations Document all security activities, incidents, and observations accurately in shift reports Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism attempts and reporting them appropriately Support emergency response procedures by coordinating with law enforcement or first responders when necessary

Requirements

Proven ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining high energy levels Strong understanding of security protocols, surveillance techniques, and conflict resolution strategies Experience or training in law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and emergency response are preferred Knowledge of CCTV operation, loss prevention methods, and basic law enforcement principles is advantageous Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle stressful situations professionally Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining focus on surroundings

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
