Overview
We are currently hiring a
Security Officer
to provide onboard security coverage forBus Route 90
, which operates betweenP?hala and Kona
. This position involves monitoring passenger activity, maintaining a safe environment, and assisting with incident reporting as needed.This is an
easy, consistent route
with a predictable daily schedule and built-in break.Schedule
Morning Shift:
8:00 AM - approximately 12:00 PM
(P?hala ? Kona)Midday Break:

Unpaid break until approximately 3:00-3:30 PM
Afternoon Shift:
3:00-3:30 PM - approximately 6:30 PM
(Kona ? P?hala)Pay
$23.39 per hour
Consistent weekday route (confirm days as assigned)Responsibilities
Provide visible security presence onboard the bus Monitor passenger behavior and ensure safety Respond appropriately to disturbances or incidents Communicate with dispatch or supervisors as needed Complete basic reports if required
Requirements
Valid Hawaii Guard Card (or ability to obtain) Reliable transportation to/from P?hala Ability to sit for extended periods Professional demeanor and good communication skills Previous security experience preferred, but not required
Pay: $23.39 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
