Job Description
Hiring Overnight Security Guards
An Active Security Guard License Required.
Duties:
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the facility
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Write reports on incidents and suspicious activities
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Enforce rules, regulations, and policies to ensure the safety and security of all individuals on the premises
- Operate CCTV systems and other security equipment to monitor activities and identify potential security risks
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in emergency situations
Skills:
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively
- Proficient in surveillance techniques and the use of CCTV systems
- Possess a valid security certificate or be willing to obtain one
- Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and protocols is a plus
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques to prevent theft or damage to property
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
