Duties

Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems and conduct regular visual inspections to identify potential security risks Control access points by verifying identities of visitors, contractors, and employees to prevent unauthorized entry Respond promptly to security incidents or disturbances, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations Conduct routine patrols of the property to ensure safety protocols are followed and report any irregularities or hazards Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious activities and implementing preventative measures Support emergency response procedures by providing first aid or CPR when necessary and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping and reporting purposes

Skills

Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems effectively Knowledge of conflict management techniques to handle tense situations professionally Basic first aid and CPR certification to provide immediate assistance during emergencies Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and emergency protocols Ability to perform physical patrols, stand for extended periods, and respond quickly when needed Experience in loss prevention strategies and security best practices Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members, visitors, and emergency responders
