UM Licensed Social Worker
HealthCare Support is actively seeking an UM Licensed Social Worker to fill in an opening in Remote, California.
Pay Details: $ 41 to $44 per hour
Shift Details: Sat/Sun - preferred 8 hours a day
Daily Responsibilities for UM Licensed Social Worker:

Evaluate patient records to determine medical necessity and care appropriateness, ensuring documentation complies with established service requirements.
Determine approval or initiate referrals to the physician consultant, process decisions, and provide detailed denials as needed.
Accurately and timely abstract review-related data onto appropriate review tools and submit all administrative documents to relevant parties.

Required Qualifications for UM Licensed Social Worker:

Independently licensed California licensed person LPCC, LCPC, LCMH, LMHC, LMFT, LCSW issued by The California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
Master's degree from an accredited program in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
1+ years of experience working with Medicaid, government-funded health plans, or hospital-based programs.
