We've partnered with a well known health system in New Jersey that is seeking an experienced

Ultrasound Technologist with strong Breast Ultrasound expertise

for a contract assignment. In this role, you will perform specialized diagnostic breast and general ultrasound exams to support physicians in identifying anatomical abnormalities and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Monday-Friday, Flexible Day Shift

No weekends o No holidays o No on-call o No float

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and complex

breast ultrasound exams

using appropriate transducers, frequencies, and Doppler techniques. Execute general diagnostic ultrasound procedures per department standards. Prepare and position patients; explain procedures clearly. Evaluate technical quality of images and submit per protocol. Assist physicians with biopsies, color-flow studies, and specialized procedures. Perform portable ultrasound studies as needed. Use EPIC, TeleTracking, and additional clinical systems for documentation and scheduling. Maintain accurate exam records, archive/de-archive images, and enter all required data. Clean and calibrate equipment; sterilize instruments; restock supplies. Provide guidance to students or new staff as applicable. Follow all safety, infection control, and emergency protocols.

Required Qualifications

Breast Ultrasound experience (REQUIRED).

RDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program. Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and ultrasound equipment. CPR certification. Ability to maintain CEU credits.

Pay: $57.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
