SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Operate and maintain portable A Scan and/or B Scan WS detector.
Hand Test locations indicated by the portable detector.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Generate daily reports as required by the customer.
- Communicate on a daily basis with the customer concerning schedule, daily
- Complete weekly expense and time reports and submit them to the office in a timely manner.
- Drive to different testing locations on a daily basis.
- Operate Sonatest Hand Held to acquire suspect locations.
Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma/GED
- Experience: Previous NDT Training. Some ultrasonic background or some railroad background
- Skills/Qualifications: Ability to work alone without direct supervision. Good organization and problem solving skills.
- Skills/Competencies: Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Required education:
- High school or equivalent
