About the Role
The State of Ohio - Department of Public Safety is seeking a
UI/UX Programmer
experienced in designing modern, intuitive, and user-centered interfaces. The selected consultant will collaborate directly with business users, IT supervisors, and project managers to design user-friendly and accessible applications that meet ODPS standards.
This role involves
prototyping, user research, agile collaboration, and front-end integration
with backend systems. A strong design portfolio and technical expertise in ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, and Figma are required.
Key Responsibilities
Design wireframes, prototypes, and intuitive user interfaces for complex applications.
Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and business analysts within an Agile environment.
Develop and maintain a
Design System Library
for UI reusability.
Conduct user research and testing to validate design concepts.
Ensure UI design follows
security and accessibility best practices
.
Integrate front-end components with backend systems.
Lead and mentor UI/UX design initiatives across the team.
