Which subjects do we tutor?

Academics? (K-12 math, science, english, history, languages, etc...) Athletics (tennis, soccer, lacrosse, etc...) Arts (drawing, painting, theater, piano, violin, creative writing, etc...) Test Prep (SAT, ACT, SAT Subject Tests, AP, PSAT, SSAT, etc...)

Responsibilities

Assess students' educational needs and develop individualized tutoring plans. Provide one-on-one or small group (3 students max) tutoring sessions in various subjects you know well and enjoy teaching. Utilize effective teaching strategies and learning technologies to facilitate student learning. Create and implement lesson plans for each session. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed. Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement. Tutors must tutor at least 4 hours per week.

Skills required

Ability to effectively communicate concepts to students of varying ages and backgrounds. Experience working with children, including early childhood education or preschool experience, is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and parents alike. Tutors must be reliable, communicative, & passionate about teaching.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
