What it's like to be An TROPICAL PLANT TECHNICIAN at GROWING GREEN

As a new Tropical Plant Technician at Growing Green, you can expect an exciting and dynamic role that will challenge and inspire you every day. You will also be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and care of these installations, ensuring that they remain healthy, vibrant, and visually stunning.



From selecting the perfect plant species for each environment to implementing watering and fertilization schedules, your attention to detail will be instrumental in creating thriving indoor gardens. You will also collaborate with our team of designers and clients to bring their vision to life, ensuring that each project exceeds expectations. At Growing Green, we value innovation and forward thinking.



This means that you will always explore new horticultural techniques and stay up to date with the latest trends in interior design. Your schedule for this full-time position will be Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some exceptions during busy seasons.

Are you a good fit for this Interior Horticulturist job?

To thrive as a Tropical Plant Technician at Growing Green, you will be trained to develop a unique blend of skills and knowledge. Training will include a deep understanding of plant care and horticultural principles. This includes maintaining and nurturing a variety of indoor plants, as well as experience in diagnosing and treating plant diseases or pests. Additionally, proficiency in using horticultural tools and equipment, such as pruning shears, watering systems, and fertilization tools, will be necessary to excel in this role. Being a problem solver and a proactive thinker will greatly contribute to your success. As you will be interacting with clients, strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial. Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work independently within given deadlines are qualities that will set you apart.
