Overview

We are seeking an energetic and engaging Trivia Game Host to lead entertaining quiz sessions at our venue. The ideal candidate will possess strong public speaking skills, a lively personality, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. This role involves managing game flow, interacting with diverse audiences, and ensuring guests have a fun and engaging time. Previous experience in events management, hospitality, or entertainment is highly valued. The Trivia Game Host will play a vital role in enhancing our guests' overall experience and fostering a lively atmosphere.

Duties

Host and facilitate trivia games, ensuring smooth game flow and timely question delivery Engage with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner to promote participation Manage guest interactions, including resolving conflicts or misunderstandings professionally Handle cash transactions accurately during game-related sales or prize distributions Coordinate with event staff to set up game areas and ensure all equipment is functioning properly Create an inviting environment that encourages guest interaction and enjoyment Assist with other guest services as needed, including food service or hospitality duties Maintain a positive attitude and uphold high standards of customer service throughout each event

Experience

Previous experience in public speaking, entertainment, or event hosting preferred Background in hospitality, resort management, theater, or food service is advantageous Skills in conflict management and guest services to handle diverse situations gracefully Experience working with children or in family-friendly environments is a plus Knowledge of cash handling procedures and customer service best practices Lifeguard experience or related safety training is beneficial but not required Strong communication skills and the ability to engage audiences of varying sizes are essential
