LOCATION: Hanover, PA

Job Summary:

The Trimmer Operator will set-up, operate and maintain the trimmer and stacker of the binder to meet production standards, quality, and delivery requirements as directed by the Binder Operator and General Plant Supervisor.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be mechanically inclined with good math skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong knowledge of computer \xe2\x80\x93 controlled machinery in a production environment
• Self \xe2\x80\x93 motivated with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to comfortably and safely handle and change sharp blades
• Attentive to deadlines and schedules issued by customers (internal and external)
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to manipulate small hand tools in tight spaces for troubleshooting and making minor adjustments to the machinery and blade changes
• Must be able to grip and grasp using both hands to stack down finished product
• Prolonged periods of standing on production floor
• Must be able to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds

Schedule: 40 hours per week Monday through Friday. Some OT required

• 1st shift : 12:00 am \xe2\x80\x93 8:00 am
• Overtime pays time and a half after 40 hours per week
