Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tree Climber to join our team. As a Tree Climber, you will be responsible for performing tree trimming and care tasks to ensure the health and safety of trees in various landscapes. This is a physically demanding role that requires expertise in bucket operation, rigging, and tree care techniques.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate bucket trucks and other equipment to access and work on trees at various heights

- Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removals according to industry standards and best practices

- Assess tree health and identify potential issues or hazards

- Use proper techniques for rigging and lowering branches or sections of trees

- Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner while maintaining high quality standards

- Clean up debris and ensure the work area is left clean and safe

- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute tree care projects

Experience:

- Proven experience as a Tree Climber or similar role

- In-depth knowledge of tree care techniques, including pruning, trimming, and removals

- Proficiency in operating bucket trucks and other related equipment

- Familiarity with rigging techniques for safe branch removals

- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols related to tree climbing

- Experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is a plus

- Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information System) software is beneficial
