Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tree Climber and groundsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, with the ability to work at heights and handle various tree trimming tasks. This position requires a combination of physical fitness, technical skills, and a commitment to safety while performing tree care duties.

Responsibilities

Climb trees using appropriate techniques and equipment to perform trimming, pruning, and removal tasks. Operate bucket trucks and other specialized equipment for tree care. Assess tree health and provide recommendations for maintenance or removal. Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during tree care projects. Follow all safety protocols to minimize risks while working at heights.

Qualifications

Proven experience in tree climbing, trimming, and general tree care practices. Drivers license and clean MVR CDL preferred Knowledge of operating bucket trucks and rigging equipment safely. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong physical fitness with the capability to lift heavy materials and work at heights. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Certification in arboriculture or related fields is a plus but not required.
