Primary Function:
The Treasury Support Associate (TSA) provides a wide variety of support functions to both the treasury management sales and the implementation process. Partners directly with the Treasury Management Officer (TMO) to understand business member's needs and expectations and ensure that their support needs and service levels are continuously met. The TSA will also partner with the TMO in the proposal processes. The TSA will act as a liaison with the Transaction Operations group to implement newly sold treasury services and conduct maintenance and issue resolution of existing services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare proposals to include pricing and product information.
Prepare any forms necessary for the implementation of new services or maintenance requests.
Facilitate the signing and collection of agreements required for the setup of new services.
Perform setup specific functions in partnership with the Transaction Operations team.
Client training of various treasury services to include Business Online Banking.
Manages the Treasury Management mailbox with incoming servicing inquires, online banking secure messages and sales opportunities.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Services business member relationships:Assists TMO in the management of deposit accounts.
First point of business member contact for any treasury service related inquires.
Handles business member requests for information and resolves problems promptly. Involves TMO when needed.
Coordinates with internal partners' referral opportunities.
Develops long-term solutions for member problems to help ensure business member and account retention.
Performs office support functions:Receives and directs telephone calls for Member Business Services.
Assists other support for the TMO as directed.
Types letters, memo, etc. as needed.
Participates in special projects as requested.
Accurately perform all Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and OFAC functions related to opening accounts, making account maintenance changes, , but not limited to, OFAC verification, reporting suspicious activity to the Security Department, and completing all required training.
Other duties may be required and assigned by the Director
Prerequisites for Job:A minimum of 4 years in a business banking role, at least two of which are deposit account management or treasury services related role.
Knowledge:Maintains working knowledge of the current treasury products offered.
Understands a business structure and business cash management needs.
Experience working with various finance roles of a business.
Knowledge of financial products and services.
Experience in managing customer relationships in a financial institution is required.
Prior experience in servicing business member relationships is preferred.
Skills:Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiar with checking and analysis account statements.
Must be a self motivator
Must be detail oriented and have the ability to work independently as well as with a team
Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications
Proficiency with sales management software applications is preferred
Must be able to work with a sense of urgency
Minimum Education and Experience:College degree is preferred
Sufficient demonstrated experience with results in areas of responsibility may substitute for educational requirements
Physical Requirements:* This job requires the ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
