Treasury Management Specialist JOB SUMMARY:
The Treasury Management Specialist serves as a key resource for treasury management/commercial clients, providing expert support and acting as a liaison between clients and internal bank operations. This role ensures a seamless client experience, supports onboarding, and drives satisfaction and retention through proactive service and problem solving.
Treasury Management Specialist ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):
Serves as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, delivering prompt and professional resolution of inquiries and service requests.
Acts as a backup to treasury team support for onboarding new commercial clients, assisting with onboarding tasks and ensuring a smooth transition.
Creates new commercial accounts for clients, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Provides technical, operational, and training support for all DDA and Treasury Management products and services.
Monitors client satisfaction through regular follow-ups and surveys, escalating feedback to management as needed.
Facilitates communication between commercial clients and internal departments to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
Assists commercial clients with complex transactions, troubleshooting issues, and navigating regulatory requirements.
Provides ongoing support for account maintenance, product upgrades, and service enhancements.
Identifies opportunities to deepen relationships with commercial clients through cross-selling and referrals to other banking products and services.
Maintains detailed records of client interactions, service issues, and resolutions to support continuous improvement in client service delivery.
Participates in client proposals, product demos, and lead projects related to service and delivery improvements.
Exercises awareness with regard to possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department. Performs all job functions in compliance with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules.

Treasury Management Specialist REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Thorough knowledge of cash management concepts, policies, procedures, and best practices.
Thorough knowledge of banking concepts, regulatory requirements, and industry issues.
Thorough understanding of industry-standard cash management products and features.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment.

Equivalent Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or related field or equivalent work experience.
2-4 years of bank customer service experience OR experience in accounting, finance, banking, or related experience.
Accredited ACH Professional a plus
