Position Summary:

The Treasury Associate will provide specialized support for various daily Treasury Department processes while seeking to develop their technical expertise in Corporate Treasury functions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversees the delivery and execution of outgoing payments for the organization.
• Leads resolution of payment errors and responses to banking investigations
• Responsible for check run process
• Recording bank entries daily
• Processes business corporate card applications and vendor credit applications
• Monitors treasury inbox in a timely manner
• Monitors account activity to ensure accurate records and mitigate against fraud
• Applies incoming payments to outstanding client invoices as needed
• Performs bank account reconciliations as needed
• Provides support for audit requests as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education:

• Associate\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent work experience required, Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s in finance or accounting preferred

Experience and Competencies:

• 0-2 years job-related experience.
• Fundamental working knowledge of Corporate Treasury functions
• Basic experience with accounting software and general ledger entries
• Basic bank account reconciliation experience
• Familiarity with data analysis
• Mid-level proficiency in MS Excel is highly preferred (Vlookup and pivot table)
