Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent with at least 5+ years of field leadership experience in commercial construction to join a leading national general contractor. Opportunity to travel both southeast and nationally upon preference. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing projects across diverse locations, with proven success delivering high-quality builds on schedule and within budget.

  • Lead on-site construction operations for projects nationwide or throughout the Southeast region.
  • Manage field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Oversee daily scheduling, coordination, and communication between project stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and company standards.
  • Travel frequently to project sites as required by project needs.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
  • Proven experience managing projects such as retail, office, hospitality, light industrial, or institutional builds.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, and field coordination.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (multi-state project assignments).
  • Prior work with national or regional general contractors.
  • Experience in fast-paced or multi-site construction environments.
  • OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certification a plus.
