Traveling Retail Construction Superintendent- Florida

We are looking to hire traveling superintendents for our retail construction division primarily for projects in state of Florida. Candidate must be willing to travel multiple weeks at a time. Must possess experience in full construction buildouts and retail or commercial construction. Position will be responsible for full supervision of retail construction projects from start to finish, and must be able to communicate and present themselves in a quality and professional manner on behalf of company.

NOTE: Looking to fill positions quickly due to upcomoming projects. Must be able to start within the next 4 weeks.
Requirements:

Must be willing to travel multiple weeks at a time

Experience in full construction buildouts and/or tenant improvements (TI)

Must have experience in retail or commercial construction

Able to read blueprints and construction documents

Proficiency in computer and phone abilities (able to document and submit daily work reports and other necessary project documents)

Ability to pull permits and coordinate with inspectors

Ability to communicate and coordinate with subcontractors

Has a valid driver's license

Not required, but beneficial, to posses certification or degree in construction field

Pay:

1099. Contract pay based on candidate experience and project scope. Typical starting contract ranges from $1,300-$1,500/week. PLUS, superintendents will be provided a travel perdiem to assist with food, lodging and fuel.

Work Location:

Company is Oklahoma based, but superintendents must be willing to travel for out of state projects.
