KIRILA FIRE is currently seeking a full time, hands-on Traveling Project Manager to join our team in

Fowler, Ohio

. In this position you will manage all assigned construction projects while achieving the goals of safety, budget compliance, schedule compliance and customer satisfaction in accordance with our company standards, processes and objectives. You will be the worksite representative for dealings with subcontractors, suppliers, customers and government inspectors.

This position requires national and at times international travel at least 50% of the time.



KIRILA FIRE is dedicated to serving the fire training community. We design, construct, erect and maintain live fire structures. We also provide ongoing service and maintenance to fire training facilities for the United States Military, Civil Aviation and Municipal Markets. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):



Provide overall management and administration for all assigned projects to ensure the successful completion of the projects safely, on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of management and the customer. Make decisions and assignments regarding crew size, equipment type and construction technique. Manage project accounting, budgeting and cost management. Prepare estimates, budgets, timetables, and resources. Collaborate with engineers and other specialists; hire full-time and part-time subcontractors and laborers and coordinate their schedules. Visit sites regularly during construction - including bid walks, pre-construction walks and in-progress visits - and attend status and coordination meetings. Respond efficiently and effectively to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions. Enforce and adhere to construction worksite safety practices. Word hands-on alongside crew if needed. Perform construction, mechanical and electrical work. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

The following qualifications are required:



High school degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 5-10 years Construction Management experience. CDL License required. Ability to travel between 50% - 75% of the time. Strong working knowledge of standard contract language used in the construction industry. Ability to read and understand contracts and technical drawings. Ability to negotiate and estimate contracts and projects. Ability to work hands-on at the construction site. Mechanical and electrical construction work experience required. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
