Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, flexible, and detail-oriented

Cleaning Specialist

to support multiple building locations throughout NYC to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of residential and commercial spaces. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, is comfortable traveling between sites, and takes pride in maintaining clean and safe environments.

Responsibilities

Travel to different locations within NYC boroughs to perform cleaning duties according to client specifications. Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and trash removal. Follow detailed cleaning checklists to ensure all areas meet quality standards. Manage cleaning supplies and equipment efficiently, ensuring proper use and maintenance. Communicate effectively with clients regarding specific cleaning needs or concerns. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing the company at various sites. Adhere to safety protocols and health guidelines during all cleaning activities. Travel between locations as assigned (MTA travel expenses will be covered) Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding supplies, tasks, and site needs Ensure all cleaning duties meet safety and sanitation standards

Skills

Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality work. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple locations efficiently. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to travel daily to different boroughs within NYC Good communication skills and a professional demeanor. Ability to lift light to moderate loads (up to 25 pounds) and stand for extended periods during work shifts. Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with eco-friendly cleaning products and basic knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning equipment.

Benefits as Cleaning Specialist:

$34.00 Metro Card Comp $200.00 bonus upon completion of 90/180 days as a Cleaning Specialist 1 week of paid vacation after 1 year of employment as a Cleaning Specialist

Physical Requirements:

walking and standing during the entire shift (often 4-8 hours), climbing stairs, kneeling to clean floors, pushing and pulling objects, lifting and moving objects (up to 50 lbs), repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movement.
